I qualified as a doctor in 1996 and practiced for 4 years. A diagnosis of ME/CFS presented a huge challenge but through a combination of nutritional therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture and osteopathy I made a full recovery. This experience made me realise that the body has an amazing power to heal itself if it is given the right support and nourishment and also gave me an interest in the various complementary treatments available. I joined the British Society of Ecological Medicine in 1999 and have attended several of their teaching modules in allergy, environmental and nutritional medicine over the last few years. I have had four children in the last 8 years and have learned much about a natural approach to health through the various illnesses and health complaints that they have had.

In 2009 I came across NAET (Nambutripad's Allergy Elimination Technique) which uses kinesiology to diagnose, and acupressure to treat, allergies. NAET defines an allergy as a negative reaction to any substance, that for most people would be neutral or beneficial, and it is a technique that can help in most conditions, not just traditional food allergies, hay fever etc. I have seen great improvements in my own health using NAET and attended the NAET Basic and Advanced training module in 2010 to qualify as a NAET Practitioner. Nearly any health condition can be helped with NAET including CFS/ME, migraine, ADHD, autism, arthritis, electrosensitivity, asthma, eczema, IBS, depression, acne, chemical sensitivity, PMS, insomnia, autoimmune disorders. People of any age, including babies, can be treated with NAET. More information on NAET can be found on www.naet.com and www.naet-europe.com

Although no longer practising as a doctor I can draw on my medical knowledge and experience to help treat patients with a wide variety of conditions with NAET, aiming to eliminate allergies, balance energy and aid recovery.
